Social Media cook Poppy O'Toole sticks all her lamb ingredients in to the slow cooker , which does all the work. Sharing a demonstration in a TikTok video, her three step cooking method requires the meat to be simply placed in the appliance where it cooks for 12 hours. Not only does this mean that it can be made the night before, but it also makes for incredibly tender meat that falls off the bone. In a clip shared with her 4.4 million followers, Poppy began: "This is a public service announcement to slow cooker your lamb this Easter. I love slow cooking and using a slow cooker is all about, for me, banging it all in - none of this 'fry it off do X,Y Z' before you get it in. Nah just through it all in." "One of the best things about this recipe is that you can leave it on overnight. So you can get everything ready the night before, put it in and then just crack on with the rest of the food that you're doing for Easter. And this will just sit in the slow cooker, on low until you're ready to carve, serve and eat."
