However, the losses also grew from £2.913 million to £5.113 million. At present, Wrexham stands third in the League Two table and is aiming to climb up to League One at the end of the season. Under the ownership of McElhenney and Reynolds, two seasons of the FX show Welcome To Wrexham have been aired, drawing global attention to the football club. They are planning to release a third season next month. Last year, the Welsh Government, the Football Association of Wales, and S4C honoured these owners with the Dragon Award for promoting the country and its language.
