That means people who are trying to tighten their purse strings should be making checks so they don't eat up all their mobile data. Those who have unlimited data may be in the clear - but users who have a set amount of internet access a month should be aware that they could end up paying more than they initially agreed. But if you are finding that you are constantly running out of mobile data then there is a simple setting on an Apple iPhone that will help you track which apps are eating up all your allowance. How to check your mobile data use Head to Settings and follow these instructions (Image: STR/NurPhoto via Getty Images) All you have to is follow these steps: Head to Settings Tap Mobile Services This are shows you a list of all the applications on your phone and how much mobile data they have used so far this month. If you want a good idea of what is going on each month, then scroll to the bottom of this list and tap Reset Statistics. This will clear all the older figures and show the data that is being used from the moment you reset it. To keep track of this, then set a monthly reminder in your calendar and head back to this settings page in a months time to find out which services are eating up your data. A lot of the apps on your phone will need data to work correctly but you can switch each one off if you are getting low on your allowance.
