Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal’s video statement In a video statement, Jennifer detailed her visit to the police station and her demand for the conversion of the FIR she filed against Asit Modi into a chargesheet. She expressed disappointment over the TMKOC makers allegedly downplaying her legal victory, claiming, “Maine unko ultimatum diya ki agar aapne jaldi nahi kiya ye chargesheet ka kaam, toh mujhe bhi nahi pata main kya karungi. The trio was booked under sections 354 and 509 (Assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Jennifer Mistry’s legal woes The recent court verdict on February 15, 2024, ruled in favour of Jennifer Mistry, ordering Asit Modi to settle her pending dues and pay a compensation of Rs 5 lakh. Notably, no punitive action was directed towards Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj in this legal outcome.
