The popularity of
BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey seems never to diminish and now fans want a bit of
Hollywood stardust added to the mix. The show's creator and star Ruth Jones resurrected Nessa Shanessa Jenkins for a surprise cameo on Friday. The
Actress and comedian, who has been starring in Sister Act: The Musical, briefly put on the popular Welsh character’s voice with Hollywood star Paul Rudd on BBC Radio 2 - and now people want the Ghostbusters
Actor to star in a future episode. In a post on
Social Media that was captioned: “Nessa’s having none of it,” Paul Rudd asked Ruth/Nessa: “I have a question: Nessa, who you gonna call?” The actress then did the famous voice. Nessa said: “Makes no odds to me love. Just don’t call me alright? I’m working, I’m sleeping, I’m loving my life. Back off!” Get the best user experience with WalesOnline’s Premium app on

She's amazing,” while a third added: “Just bloody brilliant I luv Nessa.” Earlier this year Ruth appeared to shut down the rumours that her and James Corden were writing another Gavin & Stacey episode. Netflix and BBC are in a bidding war over the sitcom , which Ruth also commented on. She said: "A bidding war – where's this coming from?" she continued. "James and I talk about Gavin & Stacey a lot – it's a huge part of our lives. We are completely grateful for what it's done for our lives." Gavin & Stacey is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
